author Giuseppe Berto. The wild fascination of
these places delighted the writer who decided to settle down here. He described Capo Vaticano as follows: “As soon as I saw it, I knew that that land, from which
magic islands could be seen, was to be my second home, and here I came to
live. I am on a promontory
high above the sea with a stupendous view.
And by day, from the tip of the promontory, when I look at the
rocks and the little beaches a hundred metres below, I know that I find
myself in one of the most beautiful places on earth”.
